Design Philosophy
Through our design we want that people understand that they intertwined with the environment. We firmly believe that architecture in the Caribbean should be physically explored and contextualized to respond our tropical reality, and as designers, approach with modern aesthetic solutions that blend and harmonize with our rich context.
Adorno Arquitectos is a multi-disciplinary architectural firm founded in 2014 by siblings Yadira & Wilfredo Adorno in Puerto Rico.
The firm groups together a team with a strong background in the design of new buildings, restorations, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, urban design, interior design, and product design. We also incorporate the use of virtual reality technology, which help our clients to understand their dream project before it is built.
After a project is designed, we provide our clients with construction administration through project management, inspections, supervisions and permits. Our integrated approach gives our clients the confidence of clarifying and understanding the project process and make sure the design and standards are executed sufficiently and efficiently.
